Equipped with the latest 5.1MP Sony Exmor R STARVIS image sensors in the front-facing and rear camera, the FineVu GX1000 delivers excellent 2K QHD @ 30FPS video footage, night and day. Like the FineVu GX300, HDR and Auto Night Vision provide optimal video quality by automatically tuning to deliver bright images in low-light and high-contrast conditions.

AI Damage Detection 2.0 uses machine learning technology to filter false impacts and creates an incident report on actual impacts to tell you exactly where, when, and the intensity of the impact.

Using machine learning techniques, the impact area during parking is subdivided into eight directions and reported in multiple levels of impact size. When you return to your car and turn the ignition on, the GX1000 will alert you of the impact detected, and the WiFi app will show which area was likely hit and a footage clip of the incident.

FineVu’s Smart Time Lapse feature lets you save more footage on your microSD card. The feature automatically reduces recording frame rate to 6 frames per second and then switches back to 30FPS full frame rate when an event is detected to ensure that the event is properly captured. With Smart Time Lapse recording, you can easily triple, and even quadruple, the storage capacity on your microSD card.

Unlike other brands where the dash cam simply shuts off, leaving you with no parking monitoring, the FineVu GX1000 constantly monitors the ambient temperature and if extreme heat is detected, it will automatically switch to Power Saving Mode (with a reduced power consumption of 0.2W).
